The First Burial of Hazrat Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar (Rehmatullah Aliah)
Hazrat Baba Ji’s real brother Sheikh Najam-ud-Din Mutawakal, his son Sahibzada Badar-ud-Din, his son in law Moulvi Badar-ud-Din Ishaq, waited for Hazrat Sheikh Sultan-ul-Mashaikh Syed Nizam-ud-Din and decided after along time for the burial.
Therefore Hafiz Shams-ud-Din took advice from friends prepared the dress and gave bath to the (most pure) body and after Ishraq on Tuesday 6th Muharram 64 Hijri at the arrival of the Holy Spirits of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) and his companion and four famous Caliphs burial ceremony was performed in the presence of all the (eminent) designated spirits of all the saints, Rajal-ul-Ghaib, Abdal, Raqba, Najba, Aghias, Aqtab, Jamia Ahley Walait. Rooh-e-Jazbia, Geniis, and all their subordinates.
Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Masood-ul-Aalmin Ganj Shakar married three times from the first wife he had four sons, from the second seven sons and five daughters, from third wife three sons only, in the same way fifty two thousand Geniis were his disciples and followers, in total of two lac sixty six thousand and three hundred (2,66,300) were men, supernatural, Qutab and saints were his disciples and followers.
Baba Ji was buried in east from where his son’s tomb stands, Aleemullah Abdal brought a message from Kalyar for Khawaja Shams-ud-Din who set off for Kalyar after staying for four days on 10th Muharram 664 Hijri. So Hafiz Shams-ud-Din reached Kalyar in four days in compliance to the order.
