Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Ganj Shakar’s (Rehmatullah Aliah) Wasal

On Monday 5 Muharram 64 Hijri Baba Masood-ul-Aalmeen Ganj Shakar had a severe head ache, when offered his evening prayer (Maghrib) and (meditated) went into the state of complete oblivion, again started offering Maghrib prayer and went into meditation without completing the prayer came around again offered the prayer third time, after this time in the state of oblivion, he met his Lord.
Khawaja Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti narrated due to the poverty, thing required for the burial were not available at night except for the black stone plank on which first Kalma (creed) was engraved on the both sides, was gifted by a merchant Muhammad Azeem. From the neighbourhood an old woman Umdah daughter of Ghias-ud-Din s/o Jozkani came before the call morning prayer (Fajr) and gave Hazrat Khawaja Shams-ud-Din a piece of cloth, for which Hazrat Khawaja Shams-ud-Din became hesitant to accept. At this the old neighbourer told that I had performed ablution when I made the thread for the cloth and a very pious and religious man knitted the cloth and I had kept it for my own burial, today Hazrat Makhdum All-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari who is Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar’s sister’s son came in to my dream and told me to give him this peace of cloth for Baba Ji burial and what will you take in return, I requested Heaven, to which he said I will give you five of them and showed me my heavens, that is why I am presenting this piece of cloth for Baba Ji (Rehmatullah Aliah).
