Conquering of Fort of Aameer
When 13th Rabi-ul-Awal 690 Hijri day went by at night Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din sent away every one, when was alone then Sheikh Suleman lit a lamp and put it near by, starting reciting the Holy Quran, wind started blowing, it was so hard that the tents blew away, camp fire and lamp lights went dead but Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din’s lamp was still burning, after some time King Shah Ghauri came to see him and asked for help, he promised to help in the morning. On the morning of 14 Rabi-ul-Awal the king came and requested again, the moment Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din raised his index finger and pointed at the tower of the fort, the fort kissed the ground, army entered and the trumpets were blown to announce the conquest (victory).
