Coronation
After the death of the mother, he confined himself in his room for 9 years and never came out for any thing during this time. On 17 Muharram 623 Hijri after the celestial revelation Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Ganj Shakar opened the chamber and brought him out, made him sit in front of him and took in his pledge of Taubah (forgiveness) and Bait-e-Hawalat and brought him in the lineage of Chishtia Aalia. Offered him, his turban that became his cloak. Makhdum Pak devoted himself in acquiring vocational and spiritual, lingual and celestial education.
During this time period Khawaja Nizam-ud-Din Bad Ayuni came to Pak Pattan Sharif and pledged at the hand of Hazrat Baba Masood-ul-Aalmim Fareed-ud-Din Ganj Shakar on 22 Rajab 646 Hijri.
