Distribution of Victuals
Makhdum Ali Ahmed Sabir Pak’s mother took leave from her brother and said “brother let not my son ever be hungry” Gods willing I will come back after twelve years to marry him off. Masood-ul-Aalmin Ganj Shakar smiled and told Ali Ahmed Sabir to distribute victuals among the poor and mendicants. Ali Ahmed Sabir cried for his mother till afternoon when she left with Hazrat Muhammad Abu-al-Qasim Gargami.
On 26 Shawal 603 Hijri Hazrat Makhdum Ali Ahmed Sabir distributed the food after the Ishraq Prayer for the first time.
It was his routine of every day to go to his room lock it and be busy in the meditation after he had distributed victuals. Meditation was food for his physical and spiritual need. No one had ever seen him eating food or any thing; at the question of Hazrat Sheikh Fazal-ur-Rehman, Hazrat Baba Ji Ganj Shakar paternal cousin about his eating food, Ali Ahmed Sabir replied I am happy in what my God is happy.
The expenses for the whole years food was sent by Umer Ishaq son of Daud son of Asgher son of Mehmood son of Safi-ud-Din son of Suleman son of Daud Altai (R.A) was the head of community of Surkhas District Kharasan. People started the celebration of the birth of Hazrat Baba Ji on Thursday 5 Muharram 601 Hijri.
