The Holy Tree of Fig (Golar Mubarik)
This is an eternal law of the God Almighty and is in vogue for ever that the souls related properly with creator always speech the truth and they become a source of guidance and support for His creators. In other words they become signs of God. All the others who have close relations with these souls become the phenomenon of innumerable God’s blessings and favours. In the same manner the relations of the venerable great saints Hazrat Makhdoom Ala-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari (God’s peace be on his sacred soul) have become a source of great inspiration, benefits for the human beings and other creators. The sacred Golar tree is a good example for it. The details received by us about this sacred Golar tree are reproduced hereunder for the readers. Hazrat Makhdoom Ala-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari (God’s peace be on his sacred soul), the chief of the saints went to Kalyar Sharif and stayed under a green Golar tree to the western side of Kalyar Sharif. This tree was well spread, thirty to fifty years of age. It had red sweet food. Traditions hear that a dove has made its nest in this tree. The fruit of this tree was casually used by the great saints. Allemullah Abdal used to serve this fruit to the guests of the great saint. The eating of this fruit was the source of the great inspiration and blessings. The fruit of this tree was presented to the well known great saint of Delhi, Hazrat Nizam-ud-Din Auliya and one of his devotee and a well known poet Hazrat Ameer Khsuro. This tree survived for seven centuries from 700 A.D to 1400 A.D. ultimately with the passage of time this tree withered and was cut down and small pieces of its sacred body were distributed among the devotees. Now the site has been marked by small piece of marble, known as “The Chilla of the Golar”. The devotees offer flowers and garlands to the site and illuminate it. A few steps towards north from the site there is a young, blooming beautiful Golar. People enjoy its fruit. This young Golar is the descendent of the old sacred Golar. Muhammad Nazir Allama, Mohallah Sabri, Malikwal, Punjab, Pakistan visited the sacred tomb in the year 1980 along with his spiritual guide Hazrat Pir Gulzar Hussain Shah Sabri Saheb of Darbar Kalas Sharif. At that time the new Golar tree was two years old and it bore fruit. We also enjoyed the fruit. When we happened to see Syed Ejaz Hussain Quddusi Known as Hajazi Mian, the organizer of the Darbar Alia Kalas Sharif, he told us that there was a high heap of bricks in the sacred courtyard of the tomb and under the old Golar tree there was heap of clay. A monkey was swinging with a branch of old Golar tree. All of sudden the branch broke of the tree and fell on the heap of the clay and pitched into it in such a way as it was intentionally planted by a gardener as a sapling. When I was informed about this incident I managed to irrigate it and watered it periodically. The dry peace of wood got green and started extracting green leaves and become a beautiful young Golar tree and is giving fruit after two years. Its fruit and green leaves are cure for the ailing people. All this is the result of the reference (Nisbat) of the great devotee and Saint of Kalyar known as Hazrat Makhdoom Ala-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari (Peace be upon his sacred soul). |
