Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti’s Coronation
Hazrat Alla-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir called Hazrat Khawaja Shams-ud-Din Pani Patti and declared that now I announce you as my disciple and you are not answerable to any one except God, brought his own turban and took his pledge. The turban was tied around his head, documented the discipleship in spiritual and physical languages, awarded spiritual and religious titles, Syed Nizam-ud-Din Auliya Aqtab-e-Delhi testified and distributed sweet at this occasion. Every one congratulated and even the Angelic congratulations were heard too.

confinement in a grave
Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti says that for nineteen years, there was same condition that not only then fire was ablazed (but) only the thunder of the cloud was heard and I was taught the worldly education after the prayer of Isha.
In the morning Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti offered Azan and Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din Sabir Pak would make him Imam, offer his prayer, at the second raqaat sitting, would go in meditation and the rest of the prayer would be spent in meditation. The wealth of the place was always enlightened and nice, never felt hunger because had spiritual food.
On Wednesday 19th Muharram 684 Hijri at the late morning prayer, Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Kalyari ordered Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti a six years long confinement in a grave, the only place that was safe from the blazes of fire, and was told nothing should be provided to him. At the slightest movement of the finger the earth split opened, was then ordered to enter. When he entered in the grave found a different world, Aleemullah Abdal was present in the grave too. Two breads of barley and a spouted jug full of water, so that he could eat when needed. Aleemullah Abdal covered the grave with red stones, after this Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti sat down in the grave.
On Friday 9th Safar 689 Hijri Hazrat Makhdum Pak called Aleemullah Abdal and told him to summon Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti from his long confinement. Aleemullah Abdal went at the entrance of the grave called out his name first ten times and then seven times, only then Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti looked up and asked who are you and why have you come here? When Aleemullah Abdal went back worded his concerns. At this Makhdum Sabir Pak said now go and say I called upon you with the order of Makhdum Sabir-o-Sabir’s earthly Shams. Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti came out of the gap of the grave and presented himself to Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak and when he bowed Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak announced him as his Caliph and absolved him of any question. The rest of the half barley bread and jug of water was gifted to Aleemullah Abdal.
