After some time the mother of Sabir Pak asked the hand of Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Ganj Shakar’s daughter and was wedded on 21 Shiwal 613 Hijri before the evening prayer.
The mother of Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din lit a lamp in his room which was very un-usual (customary). She made his bride sit in the room and rested herself outside the room. After the midnight prayer and meditation Hazrat Sabir Pak asked the bride “who she was?”, to which she replied your wife. He said two cannot embed in this heart, Sabri wrath overcame and the bride was burnt to ashes by the fire. Ali Ahmed’s mother tugged as his back and became sad and angry, then he humbly said he has no knowledge as to what had happened. This sad incident took her life on 2 Muharram 614 Hijri.
