The Second Burial of Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak
The body of Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Pak Kalyari was laid between two red stones. The day his spirit left his body, no living being or individual could go there especially within 12 miles around the scorched land which was full of annihilating fire. The day Sheikh-ul-Mashaikh Hazrat Khawaja Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi prayed for the second burial of Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak and went into the meditation and all of a sudden his body disappeared leaving the cloth behind; vanished for 21 days. This strange phenomenon came into the knowledge of many people. When he came back hence took all of his disciples and contemporary Auliyas to scorched land. When he stepped in to the boundaries of the burnt land the annihilating sword of fire that cracked like the thunder, it cut down the cloth from the right arm’s sleeve and left feet’s pajama, then the sword of annihilating fire fell at his feet that became later one of the relics and marched towards Kalyar Sharif along with other saints and reached the sacred body of Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir Pak Kalyari.
When they reached the land that was a haven; everyone saw the light emitting from the body of Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak and reaching the sky, the light was thick that nothing could be seen through by human eye. At this occasion every Sheikh-ul-Mashaikh Hazrat Khawaja Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi addressed every one aloud to have the privilege to look at the relics and the cloth used to wrap (coffin) Hazrat Makhdum Sabir Pak for nearly 300 years, what was still in the same condition.
All the attendants respectfully gathered around to be (favoured) honoured by exemplary and beautiful lights scene and Jamal-ud-Din Abdal was busy attending to every one as a host so that no one should face any difficulty at this occasion of visitation in this big crowd. The Honourable Qutab-e-Alam Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi kept Hazrat Jalal-ud-Din Thanesiri along with him for this auspicious occasion.
At this occasion Hazrat Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi Sarkar told a long Hadith (narratives of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon Him) in which seven miracles of the Prophets of Hazrat Muhammad’s (Peace be upon Him) followers will perform, also Hazrat Idrees’s miracle of keeping the body and it belonging intact for almost three hundred years (300) and started doing his work.
Dark orange coloured sheet and other relics were saved by Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jillani for this purpose. So these relics were used for the burial. All the necessities of the burial were done in the same way it was done before. With the eyes closed the holy celestial body was placed in a wooden box. Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi led the prayer after spreading the Sabri coloured sheet. Shah Jalal-ud-Din Thanesiri stood behind Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi and in the first row 1700 caliphs of Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi joined in, in the second row were contemporary Auliyas, Rajba, Naqba, Najba, Abdal, Aqtab, Aghias and Rajal-ul-Ghaib, in the third row were other prominent figures of Silsila treeqat after that all other people were standing, this was day when Hazrat Ghous Pak Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani joined his Lord. When Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi started digging out the grave, Rajal-ul-Ghaib also joined in, and also found Hazrat Shams-us-Din Sabir along with him. All these lucky pious people offered their afternoon prayer here, with the help of Shah Hazrat Shah Muhammad Abu-ul-Qasim, caliph Jala-ud-Din stood by foot side and himself stood by Qutab-e-Alam Gangohi and placed the box in the grave.
The voice 
was
heard by all the attendants and saw the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, all
his companions and Auliyas at the head side of the grave. The whole area
filled out with the scent of ambergris musk and the grave was enlightened by
green and amber lights. Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi Qutab-e-Alam descended in
the grave and brought out an amber coloured branch and showed it to every
one and then broke the branch in to two pieces as per ordered and placed
them at the ordered places, the stones has been saved by Hazrat Ghous Pak
for the purpose, by the time of evening prayer (Maghrib) the task of burial
finished, while Qutab-e-Alam Shah Abdul Qadoos Gangohi got busy in reciting
the Holy Quran. Many lucky people had the privilege to be the part of the
second burial, by the time of Asar (Pray at afternoon) the sheet that was
used earlier for the prayer of burial was spread over the grave and rose
garland were spread. All the attendants left the scorched place with Shah
Abdul Qadoos Gangohi Qutab-e-Alam.
