Visit of the Saints
It is written in all the books of the great saints of that time that from 10th Muharram 651 Hijri to the end of month of Muharram 660, almost three thousand four hundred seventy five (3475) saints with the permission of Hazrat Baba Fareed visited him, for which they were ordered not to incarnate recite anything except Makhdum Sabir Pak’s name, were told to approach him from behind his back, would be safe from his wrath. At the boundary of the burnt land Jamal-ud-Din Abdal was their host, from there he would go and pay their respects, would stand behind and come back. During this time Hameed-ud-Din Nagwari who was the follower of Hazrat Qutab-ul-Aqtab Khawaja Qutab-ud-Din Bukhtiar Aoshi Kaki and Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din fellow disciple when went to visit without any good reason instead of reciting Sabir Pak’s name, he started chanting the name of his spiritual guide Hazrat Khawaja Qutab-ud-Din. The moment he reached the burnt land his body got burnet but because of his spiritual power his spirit reached the fig tree, so Aleemullah Abdal presented the spirit and reported that the body is burnt and the spirit is here, Hazrat Makhdum Alla-ud-Din Ali Ahmed Sabir said take the spirit to the boundary of the land, take my name, spirit will get the body and Hameed-ud-Din Nagwari returned back.
