A Visit by Hazrat Saidan Shah Sabri at the Tomb of
Hazrat Hafiz Shams-ud-Din Turk Pani Patti
Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din’s shrine is an asylum for all, and is situated near Pani Patt. Hazrat Pir Saidan Shah Sabri (Sabri Darbar Kalas Sharif, near Malikwal, District Sargodha, Punjab, Pakistan) visited the holy shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din in 1943 with his loyal servant Gullo and decided to spend the night in the shrine, the current successor of the saint and the administrator told that Hazrat Khawaja Hafiz Shams-ud-Din is called scimitar (Barhana Talwar), again and again voiced their concerns about his decision that no one in past could survive after spending the night in the tomb and then we had to bury many of them. Hazrat Pir Saidan Shah Sabri (Rehmatullah Aliah) spent the night by reciting the Holy Quran delightfully by sitting at the foot steps. In the morning the caretaker were amazed to see that how Pir Saidan Shah Sabri (Rehmatullah Aliah) had survived the night by staying in the shrine of a scimitar. So Hazrat Pir Saidan Shah Sabri (Rehmatullah Aliah) said that from today it is permitted any one can stay the night only if he spent it by reciting the Holy Quran and in vocations of God’s name. Hazrat Pir Saidan Shah Sabri Kalasvi has (Rehmatullah Aliah) done a big favour to all the applicants and mendicants.
