Parent’s Weddings
Shah Abdul Raheem lived with Sheikh Muhammad bin Ishaq for ten years, during this time he completed his spiritual and vocational education and was always busy in worship and his mystic exercises. When Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din called for him, Hazrat Shah Abdul Raheem left Herat with Sheikh Muhammad bin Ishaq, Hazrat Muhammad Abu Al-Qasim Gargami, Aleemullah Abdal and reached Baldah, Khotowal; on Thursday 17th Jamad-ul-Akhar 571 Hijri at the late evening prayers wedding ceremony of Shah Abdul Raheem and Hajirah, daughter of Baba Fareed. So in a way the grandson of Hazrat Ali Haider-e-Karar and the granddaughter of Farooq-e-Azam were wedded. These holy and sacred guests stayed with their honourable host in Pak Pattan for 18 months.
