Hazrat Sabir Pak’s Wrath and Fury
Makhdum Sabir Pak told Gulzari to take her relatives and go away more than 12 miles from this place and they did as ordered. People tried finding Sabir Pak during this time but no one could see him, besides he did not stay in one place. At last he went to the wild fig tree outside the city, where now his pantheon stands, Aleemullah Abdul was standing behind him humbly.
This wild fig tree was his favourite place from the beginning, a dove had a nest on the tree. He promised safety to the dove, piece of land where mausoleum of Hazrat Imam-ud-Din stands and the place now Sabir Pak’s tomb is built, rested against the fig tree facing towards Kaabah and grabbed a branch with his left hand, made a fist with the right hand raised his index finger leveling to his heart, looked towards the sky meditating for some time brought his hands down and closed his eyes looking downwards. In the same condition turned towards west where now his tomb stands, stood for awhile with closed eyes. The moment he opened his eyes the earth caught fire almost seven steps away from him, leaving out the fig tree everything got burnet till twelve miles. And this fire became sky high, burning houses, plants and animals to ashes.
Days and nights this fire of fury flamed after every four seconds, six thousand times a day and spread to twelve miles. During this time Jamal-ud-Din Abdal along almost one hundred geniis went to enquire about his health but no one could get permission to crossover the burnt land.
Hazrat Mehboob-e-Elahi Nizam-ud-Din said that all the visitors came back to Pak Pattan on 21 Muharram 651 Hijri and narrated what they saw to Hazrat Baba Fareed-ud-Din Ganj Shakar, in reply to this he said this would be not be known to anyone for 750 years and said Ya Hadi 70 times. When Khalifs inquired about the fire and destruction, he said this city was full of idol descendant worshipers, Raja Zamwan and Magistrate Tabrak were the race of yazeed that was why people of this city had lost themselves in wrong doing. At this occasion Zohd-ul-Anbia Baba Fareed said that the body of Sabir Pak would be kept between two big stone from 690 Hijri and his second burial will take place in 900 Hijri. This would be miracle of Hazrat Uzair, second burial would be done by Shah Abdul Qadus Gangohi. This was done the way it was ordered by Baaba Fareed Ganj Shakar.
